Travelogue: Sikkim is like heaven!

When looking for an adjective to self-analyze; Then the adjective ‘opportunity seeker’ seems more logical. I am quite adept at building my own desires with the occasion of others. And so on my wife’s birthday I gave her a tour plan to visit Sikkim in the name of surprise. Continue your desire to travel as a birthday gift!

In the first week of October, 30 degrees in Dhaka, 33 degrees in Siliguri and the fatigue-initial joy of traveling 480 kilometers flew like camphor! Keeping in mind the winter in Sikkim, the warm clothes in the bag seemed much heavier then!

The journey started from Siliguri to Gangtok – a further distance of 145 km. Shortly after the journey, the ‘camphor of joy that flew’ in the mountain air condensed again and settled in the mind. Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is at the end of a 6-hour journey with winding mountain paths and a sudden downpour of rain.

Gangtok: MG Mart is the best looking place in Gangtok. The simple people of Sikkim are sitting here with various products. The shops built on the side of the hill, the streets are all impossibly clean and tidy.
